Kajol’s fashion sense has greatly evolved since her first films Bekhudi and Baazigar. From ‘Jaati Hun Main’ to ‘Sooraj hua Madham’ and now ‘Gerua’ from her latest film Diwale; her looks have constantly evolved and for good reason. Kajol’s dusty skin complexion and beautiful features make her a sight for sore eyes. Let us decode her ethereal looks from her latest film offering.
She’s Always Simple & Chic
Her style in Dilwale can easily be defined as casually chic. She looks effortless and comfortable in her ensembles while staying on top of the fashion game.
She Rocks In Sarees
Kajol looks gorgeous no matter what she wears, but she looks jaw-droppingly amazing when she puts on a saree. Sarees are to Kajol what peanut butter is to jelly, what a cookie is to milk and what love songs are to Bollywood. Some things just go together, and her sarees in Dilwale have gotten many of us Googling her pictures for style inspirations for the wedding season, which is pretty much upon us
Monochrome Ensemble for ‘Janam Janam’
It’s just the sheer emotions of Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan that take your breath away in every song. But there’s something else too- her every ensemble that shouts grace and eternal beauty. This particular monochrome look is one of our favourites, the plain black shirt with a pleated skirt with dramatic prints only add to the romance of the most sought-after onscreen couple.
Her Magic al dresses in Gerua
You’ve seen the song, and the chances are you too have absolutely fell in love with the magic it creates. It might be a little reminiscent of ‘Sooraj Hua Madham’ but that doesn’t make it any less of a romantic masterpiece. It is very difficult to just pick one ensemble from the song, hence we have selected two (sorry, just couldn’t help it!).
The first one is the one we first see in the trailer where Kajol is running towards her onscreen beau with her red ghaghra-styled-skirt gripped in her hands. The whole scene screams love, but it is her romantic ensemble that makes it just perfect. She may have entered her forties, but she is doing it with a grace like no other!
That Black Dress! That’s all that we’d say about this one. Or… let’s talk a little more about it. Turns out, she really has infused a lot of black accents in her wardrobe for the film, but it’s all in good taste. Her ensembles have been stunning and strikingly beautiful in every frame. But that gown and the way that it followed her everywhere is breathtakingly amazing, to say the least. The golden accents on the shoulder and the fiery orange border play perfectly with the heated emotions of the characters. So if you are looking for a colour combination to invest in this season, make sure it’s orange and black, you are bound to turn some heads.
