A Very Peachy Formal Wear

Light colours are the most versatile of colours. Pastel shades can be worn for day or even for night; whereas if you look at black and midnight blue, they are more evening appropriate. These understated colours are like the underdogs of the fashion world or like Leonardo DiCaprio- always appreciated but never awarded. We have nothing against floral prints or bird prints or bright eye hurting colours, but there is something so soothing about pastel shades that you really cannot stop appreciating.

Sure these might not be the first shades which pop into your mind when you get that garden party invitation, but they are the best options. Peach is one such shade to opt for when in doubt. Think of it like the ‘black’ of the season.

Peach blazers look refreshing and mean business. A very spring colour this year, the colour makes for a pleasant change in the sea of blacks and greys. Opt for a single button peach blazer with white trousers or navy blue trousers and wear a white top underneath. Nude pumps and bag coordinate very well with the soft shade.

Peach dresses make for a good option for that formal wear. Pair it with a navy blazer or go without any jacket and wear nude or white pumps with a well coordinated tote. Yup, colour blocking works for formal wear as well. If you think peach is not very flattering on you, then pair the colour with a darker hue from the same family.
