It’s ‘Tan’gible

With new years and new seasons come new fashion trends which you see everywhere- be it the colours, cuts, fabrics, types of outfits and accessories. But the one surprising trend for S/S 2015 which was visible on all the runways and is definitely visible on everyone now, is the colour Tan. It has not been a favourable summer colour but more of a winter colour and definitely restricted to just accessories, tan made a huge splash for this season for 2015.

Clothes– Runways were dominated by knee length skirts. Fringed skirts in tan made a huge impact as well. Suede was the chosen fabric. Again not a summer staple, it looked surprisingly light and refreshing.

Shoes– Be it ankle length boots, leather block heels or flats, tan was definitely seen nearly everywhere and it definitely told us that this is the one colour which looks good with everything and anything.

Bags– Another fashion favourite, tan coloured shoulder bags and sling bags did not exactly make a comeback as they had never left the fashion scene. The go to accessory when in doubt, tan bags are almost like God’s gift to womankind.

Wraps and drapes– Another new entrant in the fashion scene were wraps and draped skirts and Japanese style knotted trousers in tan.

No one can ever go wrong with tan and there are no rules written for this colour trend. One of the most versatile and the easiest to incorporate in to everyday wear, tan is the best colour ever invented.
